Tetraacetylphytosphingosine

Acetylated Sphingoid Base

Tetraacetylphytosphingosine is an acetylated sphingoid base that functions as a sphingolipid metabolite. It exhibits significant inhibitory effects on angiogenesis by disrupting MAPK activation and reducing intracellular calcium levels. Additionally, Tetraacetylphytosphingosine has been shown to induce apoptosis in HaCaT cells, making it a valuable reagent for studies related to cell signaling, cancer biology, and angiogenesis research.
