TMB monosulfate

Chromogenic Agent

TMB monosulfate is a chromogenic agent primarily utilized in enzyme detection systems that involve horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This non-toxic and non-mutagenic colorless dye effectively reacts with reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS/RNS), including hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, singlet oxygen, and nitrogen dioxide, generating distinct blue oxidation products. Additionally, TMB monosulfate serves as a photoacoustic probe, demonstrating the capability to detect singlet oxygen produced by Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, making it valuable for various biological and biochemical research applications.
