TNF-α Inhibitor
TNF-α-IN-8 is a selective TNF-α inhibitor that targets tumor necrosis factor-alpha, a key cytokine involved in inflammation and immunological responses. This isoindole-imide compound demonstrates significant potential in the study of various pathologies, including cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, and inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune disorders. Additionally, TNF-α-IN-8 serves as a click chemistry reagent, with an azide functionality that enables it to participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) and strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions, allowing for versatile applications in bioconjugation and biomolecular research.
