Triplin

Copper Chelator

Triplin is a copper chelator that disrupts copper ion transport, specifically affecting the interaction between RAN1 and ATX1. This compound mitigates the detrimental impact of excess copper on plant root development and enhances the RNA expression of the ethylene response factor ERF1. Additionally, Triplin functions as a bacterial pore-former, making it a valuable tool in studies of copper homeostasis and ethylene signaling pathways.
