Allosteric p97 Inhibitor
UPCDC-30245 is an allosteric inhibitor of p97, demonstrating an IC50 of approximately 27 nM. This compound effectively inhibits the p97 mutant N660K, with a similar potency to the wild type (IC50 = 300 nM), while exhibiting a three-fold resistance to the p97 mutant T688A. UPCDC-30245 is a valuable tool for research into cancer biology, particularly in studies focused on protein unfolding and degradation pathways.
