VHR-IN-3 is a selective inhibitor of the vaccinia H1-related (VHR) phosphatase, exhibiting a Ki of 0.81 μM. It functions by mimicking the phosphate group through its sulfonic acid moiety, allowing it to competitively bind to the catalytic active site of VHR. This compound is instrumental in research aimed at understanding the role of VHR in cervical cancer and other related biological processes.
