Violamine R

Fluorophore

Violamine R, also known as Acid Violet 9, serves as a highly effective fluorophore. It exhibits environment and temperature-dependent photoluminescence (PL) intermittency when incorporated into matrices such as poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVOH) and potassium acid phthalate (KAP). This unique property allows for precise temperature measurements across the glass-transition temperature (Tg) of the polymer host, making Violamine R a valuable tool in materials science and polymer research applications.
