Z-Leu-Arg-AMC

AMC

Z-Leu-Arg-AMC is a substrate specifically designed for the cysteine proteinase trypanopain-Tb derived from Trypanosoma brucei brucei. This 4-methylcoumarinyl-7-amide (Amc) leucine derivative features a carboxybenzoyl (Z) moiety, allowing for effective cleavage and fluorescence release. Its application in studying cysteine proteases makes it a valuable tool in proteomics and enzymology research, particularly in exploring the role of trypanopain in parasitic diseases.
