Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor
(Z)-RG-13022 is a selective tyrosine kinase inhibitor that primarily targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It effectively inhibits EGF-stimulated growth in cultured cells with an IC50 value of 11 μM for DNA synthesis in HN5 cells, demonstrating increased potency compared to its isomer, (E)-RG-13022 (IC50 = 38 μM). This compound is primarily utilized in research focused on breast cancer cell proliferation and related signaling pathways.
