Anti-MRSA Agent
Anti-MRSA agent 5 (B14) is a potent anti-MRSA compound targeting methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) with an MIC50 of 0.38 μg/mL. This agent demonstrates low hERG activity, with an IC50 greater than 40 μM, indicating minimal cardiovascular side effects. Additionally, Anti-MRSA agent 5 exhibits low cytotoxicity toward mammalian cells and shows a reduced likelihood of inducing bacterial resistance, making it a valuable candidate for antibiotic research and development.
