Antibiofilm agent-9

Antibiofilm Agent

Antibiofilm agent-9 is a pyrrolomycin derivative that targets bacterial biofilm formation. It demonstrates significant antibacterial activity against Bacillus anthracis, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.031 μg/mL. Additionally, Antibiofilm agent-9 shows impressive antibiofilm efficacy, achieving 84% biofilm inhibition at a concentration of 8.0 μg/mL after 24 hours. Its favorable pharmacokinetic properties in mouse models further support its potential applications in combating biofilm-associated infections.
