Antitubercular agent-19

Antitubercular Agent

Antitubercular Agent-19 is a potent antitubercular compound targeting Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It demonstrates remarkable activity against both the MTB H37Rv strain and multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of less than 0.016 µg/ml. Additionally, this compound exhibits low cytotoxicity while displaying a relatively high level of acute lethal toxicity in BALB/c mice, making it a valuable candidate for further research in tuberculosis treatment and drug resistance studies.
