Antitubercular agent-27 is a potent inhibitor targeting Mycobacterium tuberculosis, exhibiting an IC50 value of 3.2 µM and an MIC of 7.8 µM, along with an IC90 value of 7.0 µM. This compound demonstrates effective antimycobacterial activity against resistant strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv, coupled with significant intracellular efficacy. Notably, antitubercular agent-27 maintains low cytotoxicity, making it a valuable candidate for research into tuberculosis treatment.
