5-LO Inhibitor
CJ-13,610 is a selective inhibitor of 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO), effectively disrupting the conversion of arachidonic acid (AA) into leukotrienes. This nonredox-type inhibitor demonstrates dose-dependent suppression of 5-LO product formation in ionophore A23187-stimulated polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNL), with an IC50 value of approximately 70 nM. CJ-13,610 is valuable in exploring pathways involving leukotriene synthesis and may aid in the research of inflammatory processes.
