CP-99994 hydrochloride

NK-1 Receptor Antagonist

CP-99994 hydrochloride is a potent neurokinin-1 (NK-1) receptor antagonist, exhibiting a Ki value of 0.25 nM. This compound has demonstrated efficacy in preventing colorectal sensitization within the context of visceral hypersensitivity. CP-99994 hydrochloride effectively reduces acetic acid-induced colorectal hypersensitivity, particularly in models of bladder-colon cross-sensitization, and mitigates neuroglial interactions and MAPK-p38 phosphorylation linked to visceral hypersensitivity.
