Fluorescent Probe
Dihydrorhodamine 6G (DHR 6G) serves as a fluorescent probe targeting mitochondrial membranes. This nonfluorescent compound easily penetrates cells and is oxidized by reactive oxidative species or cellular redox systems, converting into the fluorescent rhodamine 6G.
