EBOV Inhibitor
EBOV-IN-5 is an antiviral agent that targets the Ebola virus (EBOV) by inhibiting the interaction between the EBOV glycoprotein (EBOV-GPcl) and the Niemann-Pick C1 (NPC1) receptor. This interference prevents viral fusion and entry into host cells, thereby reducing infection rates. EBOV-IN-5 is primarily utilized in research settings to study EBOV pathogenesis and to develop potential therapeutic strategies against Ebola virus infections.
