Famoxadone

Fungicide Active

Famoxadone is a fungicide primarily targeting oomycetes. It exhibits significant biological activity by inducing rapid lysis of zoospores from pathogens such as Plasmopara viticola and Phytophthora infestans, while also inhibiting sporangial differentiation, germination, and mycelial growth. Famoxadone serves as a preventive control agent for plant diseases and is particularly useful in research related to grape downy mildew, potato late blight, tomato late blight, and other oomycete-related plant infections.
