Fura-FF AM

Fluorochrome

Fura-FF AM is a cell-permeable acetoxymethyl ester of the fluorescent calcium indicator fura-FF. Upon intramolecular hydrolysis by intracellular esterases, it releases fura-FF within cells. As a difluorinated derivative of fura-2, Fura-FF exhibits a lower affinity for calcium, making it ideal for investigating calcium-rich compartments. This reagent is widely used in cellular imaging and calcium dynamics studies.
