Antimicrobial Agent
HPi1 is a selective antimicrobial agent targeting Helicobacter pylori, demonstrating an IC50 of 0.24 μM and a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 0.08-0.16 μg/mL. This compound exhibits a high degree of specificity, remaining inactive against beneficial gut bacteria such as Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus reuteri, and Bifidobacterium longum. HPi1 is particularly valuable for research in the development of targeted therapies for H. pylori-related infections and gastrointestinal health.
