IFNAR

IFNAR modulators act on the type I interferon receptor (IFNAR), which binds interferon alpha and beta. The receptor has two chains: IFNAR1 was cloned as a functional human interferon alpha receptor, and IFNAR2 was later characterized as the ligand-binding chain. Mice lacking type I interferon signaling are highly susceptible to viral infection. Products here include RO8191, a small-molecule IFNAR agonist, and IFN alpha-IFNAR-IN-1 hydrochloride, which blocks the ligand-receptor interaction. The section also lists 2',3'-cGAMP, an upstream inducer of type I interferon, and IRF5-IN-1, which targets the interferon regulatory factor 5 (IRF5) transcription factor.

    RO8191

    Synonyms: CDM-3008; RO4948191

RO8191 is an imidazonaphthyridine compound that functions as a potent agonist of the interferon (IFN) receptor, specifically targeting the IFNα/β receptor 2 (IFNAR2). This compound stimulates the expression of interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) and promotes JAK/STAT phosphorylation, demonstrating significant antiviral activity against hepatitis C virus (HCV) and encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV), with an IC50 of 200 nM for HCV replicon. Additionally, RO8191 acts as a cccDNA modulator, exhibiting interferon-like activity and providing anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) effects, making it a valuable tool for research in virology and immune modulation.

    2'2'-cGAMP

2'2'-cGAMP is a synthetic cyclic dinucleotide (CDN) that targets the STING (Stimulator of Interferon Genes) pathway, playing a crucial role in the immune response. It effectively induces the production of interferon-beta (IFN-β), a key cytokine involved in antiviral defense. While 2'2'-cGAMP exhibits a weaker affinity for STING compared to 2'3'-cGAMP, it demonstrates a stronger interaction than other CDNs, making it valuable for research in immunology and therapeutic applications related to immune modulation.

    Cat. No.
    A64872

    Antitumor agent-210

Antitumor agent-210 is an NK cell activator known for enhancing the activation and degranulation of natural killer (NK) cells. It exerts a modest proliferative effect on NK92 cells, significantly increasing their cytotoxicity against tumor cells. This compound promotes the release of key cytokines, including granzyme B, perforin, and IFN-γ, and has demonstrated efficacy in reducing lung metastatic lesions in murine models. Antitumor agent-210 is a valuable reagent for researching melanoma lung metastasis and other cancer-related immunological studies.
