LpxC Inhibitor
LpxC-IN-10 is a potent inhibitor of LpxC, a key enzyme involved in lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis. This compound demonstrates minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of 0.5 μg/mL against both Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae, making it an effective tool for studying bacterial infections. Additionally, LpxC-IN-10 contains an alkyne functional group, enabling its use as a click chemistry reagent in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) reactions, facilitating diverse applications in chemical biology and molecular imaging.
