In vitro studies reveal minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of 64 μg/mL for Staphylococcus aureus, 0.25 μg/mL for Streptococcus pneumoniae, and 0.5 μg/mL for Haemophilus influenzae, among others. Notably, LY 255262 exhibits a reduced effect on Pseudomonas species with an MIC greater than 128 μg/mL. This compound is suitable for applications in antibacterial research.
