MptpB Inhibitor
MptpB-IN-1 is a potent, orally active inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis protein-tyrosine-phosphatase B (MptpB), a secreted virulence factor that undermines the host's antimicrobial defense mechanisms. By inhibiting MptpB, MptpB-IN-1 effectively reduces the survival and infection burden of multidrug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
