MtTMPK Inhibitor
MtTMPK-IN-2 is a selective inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis thymidylate kinase (MtTMPK), exhibiting an IC50 value of 1.1 μM. This compound demonstrates effective antimicrobial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain H37Rv, with a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of 12.5 μM. Additionally, MtTMPK-IN-2 shows cytotoxic effects in human fibroblast MRC-5 cells, with an EC50 value of 6.1 μM. This reagent is valuable for research focused on tuberculosis and the development of novel therapeutic strategies against this pathogen.
