MtbTMPK Inhibitor

MtTMPK-IN-9 is a selective inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis thymidylate kinase (MtbTMPK) with an IC50 value of 48 μM. This compound exhibits sub-micromolar antibacterial activity against mycobacterial strains, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) ranging from 6.25 to 9.4 μM, while demonstrating low cytotoxicity in mammalian cells. MtTMPK-IN-9 is a valuable tool for research into tuberculosis and the development of new therapeutic strategies targeting MtbTMPK.
