TASIN-1 hydrochloride

APC(TR) Inhibitor

TASIN-1 hydrochloride is a selective inhibitor of truncated APC (adenomatous polyposis coli) that demonstrates cytotoxic effects through the suppression of cholesterol biosynthesis. This reagent specifically targets colorectal cancer cells harboring APC truncated mutations, while exhibiting minimal toxicity to wild-type APC cells. TASIN-1 hydrochloride induces endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, elevates reactive oxygen species (ROS), and triggers JNK-mediated apoptosis, while concurrently inhibiting Akt survival signaling. It serves as a valuable tool for research focused on the prevention and intervention of APC mutant colorectal cancer.
