Zinpyr-1
Zinc Probe
Zinpyr-1 is a zinc-responsive fluorescent indicator designed for the detection of biologically mobile zinc ions. This compound exhibits a shift in excitation from 515 to 507 nm as zinc concentrations increase, enabling sensitive quantification of zinc levels. Zinpyr-1 is valuable for investigating zinc's role in various biological processes and can be utilized in live cell imaging and other fluorescence-based assays.
