LeuRS-IN-1 hydrochloride
LeuRS Inhibitor
LeuRS-IN-1 hydrochloride is an effective inhibitor of M. tuberculosis leucyl-tRNA synthetase (M.tb LeuRS), showcasing sub-micromolar potency with IC50 and Kd values of 0.06 μM and 0.075 μM, respectively. This compound also inhibits human cytoplasmic leucyl-tRNA synthetase with an IC50 of 38.8 μM and affects protein synthesis in HepG2 cells, demonstrating an EC50 of 19.6 μM. LeuRS-IN-1 hydrochloride is valuable for investigating the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance and for exploring new therapeutic strategies against tuberculosis.
