LeuRS Inhibitor
LeuRS-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of Mycobacterium tuberculosis leucyl-tRNA synthetase (M.tb LeuRS) with high potency, exhibiting an IC50 value of 0.06 μM. It also demonstrates a Kd of 0.075 μM for M.tb LeuRS, making it a valuable tool for studying bacterial protein synthesis. Additionally, LeuRS-IN-1 inhibits human cytoplasmic leucyl-tRNA synthetase with an IC50 of 38.8 μM and affects protein synthesis in HepG2 cells (EC50=19.6 μM), highlighting its potential for research into both microbial and human protein synthesis pathways.
