Complement, Coagulation & FcRn

Complement, coagulation and FcRn antibodies act on plasma protein cascades and on recycling of immunoglobulin G (IgG). Eculizumab, ravulizumab and pozelimab bind complement component C5 and block formation of the membrane attack complex. Sutimlimab inhibits C1s, the serine protease that initiates the classical complement pathway. Emicizumab bridges activated factor IX and factor X, while concizumab and marstacimab bind tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI). Nipocalimab and rozanolixizumab block the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn) and are used to study IgG half-life and clearance.
