Broad-spectrum antibiotic
Cefadroxil, also known as Duricef, is an antibiotic effective against pyodermic skin diseases, such as Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes. - Cefamandole nafate is a pro-drug that is hydrolyzed by plasma esterases to produce cefamandole, second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with bactericidal activity. Cefamandole nafate is used to study the effects of expression and inhibition of PBP 2A and other penicillin-binding proteins (PDPs) on bacterial cell wall mucopeptide synthesis. Cefamandole binds to and inactivates penicillin-binding proteins (PBP) located on the inner membrane of the bacterial cell wall. Inactivation of PBPs interferes with the cross-linkage of peptidoglycan chains necessary for bacterial cell wall strength and rigidity. This results in the weakening of the bacterial cell wall and causes cell lysis.
- Turimycin is a macrolide antibiotic that is effective against a wide spectrum of pathogens.
- Cefepime Dihydrochloride Monohydrate is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin with enhanced coverage against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
- Cefsulodin sodium salt hydrate is a third generation β lactam antibiotic and member of the cephems subgroub of antibiotics.

- Pyrogallol is a polyphenol compound, which has anti-fungal and anti-psoriatic properties. Pyrogallol is a reductant that is able to generate free radicals, in particular superoxide anions.
- Procaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic of the ester type that has a slow onset and a short duration of action. It is mainly used for infiltration anesthesia, peripheral nerve block, and spinal block.
- Piromidic acid is antibacterial against mainly gram negative organisms. It is used for urinary tract and intestinal infections.
- Phthalylsulfacetamide is an antibiotic sulfonamide used as a leprostatic agent to treat urinary tract infections.
- Cephapirin Sodium is the sodium salt form of cephapirin, a semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum, first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is beta-lactam with bactericidal activity. Cephalosporin antibiotic is effective against gram-negative and gram-positive organisms. Cephapirin sodium inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting the final transpeptidation step of peptidoglycan synthesis and subsequent cross-linking of peptidoglycan units.
- Benzyl isothiocyanate is a member of natural isothiocyanates with antimicrobial activity. Benzyl isothiocyanate potent inhibits cell mobility, migration and invasion nature and matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2) activity of murine melanoma cells.
