- Fludarabine or fludarabine phosphate (Fludara) is a chemotherapy drug used in the treatment of hematological malignancies (cancers of blood cells such as leukemias and lymphomas) .Fludarabine inhibits DNA synthesis by interfering with ribonucleotide reductase and DNA polymerase.
