- Tioconazole is an antifungal medication of the imidazole class used to treat infections caused by a fungus or yeast.
- Tolnaftate is a synthetic thiocarbamate used as an anti-fungal agent. It is believed to inhibit the squalene epoxidase, an important enzyme in the biosynthetic pathway of ergosterol (a key component of the fungal membrane) in a similar way to allylamines.
- Prulifloxacin is an older synthetic chemotherapeutic antibiotic of the fluoroquinolone drug class. Like other fluoroquinolones, Prulifloxacin prevents bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair and recombination through inhibition of bacterial DNA gyrase.
- Rimantadine is an orally administered antiviral drug used to treat, and in rare cases prevent, influenzavirus A infection. Rimantadine is believed to inhibit influenza's viral replication, possibly by preventing the uncoating of the virus's protective shells, which are the envelope and capsid.
- Arbidol is an antiviral treatment for influenza infection used in Russia and China. Arbidol inhibits membrane fusion. Arbidol prevents contact between the virus and target host cells. Fusion between the viral capsid and the cell membrane of the target cell is inhibited. This prevents viral entry to the target cell, and therefore protects it from infection.

- Telithromycin is a ketolide antibiotic. It is used to treat community acquired pneumonia of mild to moderate severity. Telithromycin prevents bacteria from growing, by interfering with their protein synthesis. Telithromycin binds to the subunit 50S of the bacterial ribosome, and blocks the progression of the growing polypeptide chain.

- Noradrenaline bitartrate monohydrate (Levophed) is a direct alpha-adrenergic receptors stimulator.
- Inulin and its analog sinistrin are used to help measure kidney function by determining the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). It is also used for rehydration and remineralization following important loss of water, like diarrhea and diaphoresis. Inulin can also be used as a vaccine adjuvant.
- ATP (Adenosine-Triphosphate) is a nucleoside triphosphate used in cells as a coenzyme. It is often called the "molecular unit of currency" of intracellular energy transfer. ATP transports chemical energy within cells for metabolism. It is one of the end products of photophosphorylation, cellular respiration, and fermentation and used by enzymes and structural proteins in many cellular processes, including biosynthetic reactions, motility, and cell division.
- Risedronic acid is a bisphosphonate used to strengthen bone, treat or prevent osteoporosis, and treat Paget's disease of bone.
- Genipin is a chemical compound found in gardenia fruit extract. Genipin is an excellent natural cross-linker for proteins, collagen, gelatin, and chitosan cross-linking. Furthermore, genipin can be used as a regulating agent for drug delivery, as the raw material for gardenia blue pigment preparation, and as the intermediate for alkaloid syntheses. In vitro experiments have shown that genipin blocks the action of the enzyme uncoupling protein 2.
- Etidronic acid is a bisphosphonate used to strengthen bone, treat osteoporosis, and treat Paget's disease of bone. An etidronate is a salt of etidronic acid, abbeviated MnHEDP. Etidronate, unlike other bisphosphonates, also prevents bone calcification.
- Pamidronic acid is a nitrogen containing bisphosphonate, used to prevent osteoporosis. It is also used to strengthen bone in Paget's disease, to prevent bone loss due to steroid use, and in certain cancers with high propensity to bone, such as multiple myeloma.
- Fluocinonide is a potent glucocorticoid steroid used topically as an anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of skin disorders.
- Fenoprofen calcium is used for symptomatic relief for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and mild to moderate pain.
- Mometasone furoate is a glucocorticosteroid used topically to reduce inflammation of the skin or in the airways.
- Naltrexone is an opioid receptor antagonist used primarily in the management of alcohol dependence and opioid dependence.
- Heparin, also known as unfractionated heparin, a highly sulfated glycosaminoglycan, is widely used as an injectable anticoagulant, and has the highest negative charge density of any known biological molecule.
- Geniposide is an iridoid glycoside with a variety of biological activities including neuroprotective, anti-diabetic, antiproliferative, and antioxidative activity.
- Atracurium besylate is a neuromuscular blocking agent with ED95 of 0.2 mg/kg.
- Azacyclonol, also known as γ-pipradol, is a drug used to diminish hallucinations in psychotic individuals.
- Articaine is a dental local anesthetic which contains an additional ester group that is metabolized by estearases in blood and tissue.
- Altrenogest is a progestogen structurally related to veterinary steroid trenbolone.
- ENOblock (AP-III-a4) is a novel small molecule which is the first, nonsubstrate analogue that directly binds to enolase and inhibits its activity (IC50=0.576 uM); inhibit cancer cell metastasis in vivo.

- Ibandronate sodium is a highly potent nitrogen-containing bisphosphonate used for the treatment of osteoporosis.
- Levosimendan is a Ca2+ sensitizer that increases contractile force of the myocardium by enhancing the sensitivity of myofilaments to calcium without increasing intracellular calcium concentration.
- Nadifloxacin is a cell-permeable, synthetic, broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits the growth of both gram-positive and gram-negative microbes.
